Homes with In-Law Suites

Do you have a loved one that needs some help with daily life?  Maybe you need some help with your kids and your parents are willing to help out and live with you.  You are not alone.  We are seeing more and more clients reach out to us asking for homes that feature space for an aging relative.  This is often referred to as an in-law suite or in realtor speak, multi-generational living.  What we have found is that in order for multiple generations to live comfortably together, all of the groups need to feel like they have enough space to call their own.  Privacy and a sense of independence is important for most clients we have worked with whether they realized it or not at the beginning.  

Insider tip:  There aren't a large number of homes with "proper" in-law suites in our area.  Often times it requires being creative and creating space within the existing home.  We  can help with this.  We have helped quite a few families transform the space into a functional multi generational home and we can do the same for you.
